Christmas

Hello beautiful family,
I'm listening to Christmas music this morning and it starting me thinking of (guess what ... ?) Christmas and the holidays.  Do we have any Thanksgiving or Christmas plans for this year yet?  Are Kim and Tim going to make it out to visit this year?  Are we drawing names for presents?  If we are then we should draw them sooner than later because it takes me a long time to decide what I want to get for my person :)
I love you all,
Rebecca :)

Melinda's CD

Melinda's CD will be completed soon, most likely by Friday. You can point people to www.melindasings.com to make a purchase. And by next week . . . maybe . . . it should be available at Amazon.com.

2011 Vacation

So I have preliminary plans for out 2011 vacation . . . and you are all invited. We will leave on Sunday, July 3, after morning services and spend a motel night in Cortez, CO. Then we have rented a home in Grand Lake Utah for 7 nights. It's on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park, and you can see the home online. And then we will come back to Vallecito Lake (near Durango) for 5 nights. You can also see that home online as well.

Concerts

If any of you have concerts, contests, or school programs, please post ASAP so I can put them on my calendar. If they are in Arizona (sorry Kimberly) I will put them on my calendar.

SCARVES! :)

Ok girls - the crochet bug has bitten again :) If you want me to make you a scarf (or a hat - I found a really cute pattern), let me know what color!

Life Gets Busy

Life is going to get busier for me quickly. Softball starts tonight (on Fridays) and I'm teaching a class starting next Tuesday. And, when basketball begins, I will coach one night per week as well.

Tim & Kim's Update

Here's an update from us in Norman. I started at JCPenney this week. I'll be working in the Men's Department. Tim has a great lead on a part-time job at a Ford Dealership that will be very flexible with school and his Reserve job. Speaking of which, this weekend is his first working one weekend per month in Derby, and he'll most likely deploy for 2 months during the summer. School starts for Tim a week from Monday, but I'm going to be working this semester, saving money and getting my residency status instated. We think we may have found a church, but we need to visit some more, and get to know them a little better.

School Starting

So I kinda felt like posting something, so I thought some of you guys might want to know what's going on with school. Yesterday went great, I didn't actually get lost this year which felt pretty good. Today went really good until about 12 o'clock. I went to change my chemistry class because I was put in the wrong one, and after waiting for about an hour, they told me I couldn't do it then and had to go back after school. But hopefully all that will be straightened out tomorrow. I'm mostly excited about concert choir, the only down fall is that it's crowded. It's now the biggest class on campus with about 78 people. But I have Meredith Snow in there with me so it should be a lot of fun :)

2011 Vacation

Our family vacation in 2011 will most likely have to fall sometime between July 4 (the youth will most likely be going to Centrifuge and getting back on July 2) and July 25 (when music camp starts.) There is some talk of a Haymore family reunion sometime in the next year, but we don't know any details yet. And there was some talk of going to Washington State, but I'm still open for suggestions!

Bruce and Paula gave us great seats to a D-Backs game tonight . . . so Kenny and I are going. I hope it's a good game.

Back to School

I'm curious as to when everyone goes back to school and what classes everyone is taking?

As for me, I'm taking this semester off and focusing on finding a job that I really enjoy.
But I'll probably start working on a couple of classes for my BSN in the spring - that's the plan at the moment anyhow.

Mom and Dad Going Out of Town

Jack and Dawn are going out of town for a couple of days in October. We're going to see Kartchner Caverns and will be staying in Tombstone. We will leave Thursday afternoon/evening, October 7 and come back Saturday afternoon, October 9.

Pharmacy Test

For all of you who don't know - I'll be taking my Pharmacy exam today at 6. I'm very nervous about it, but I feel like I have a pretty decent grasp on all of the material. But please pray for me! I only want to take this thing once :) Thanks guys!

Hello Family

Life is busy, believe me, I know!  But as we all spread out with a few of us not living at home anymore I wanted to create a place where we could share information and keep each other up to date on what is going on in our lives (I don't really think facebook is very effective at accomplishing that).

For example, I'd love to read about how Kim and Tim are doing in their new home with their new work/school experiences, I'm sure Linda will have lots of concerts this year that she can keep us informed of, Tina is taking her Pharm test tomorrow - I'm sure she'd appreciate prayer and support for that - pretty much anything you'd like to share :)

I am setting this up so that our immediate family can publish posts.
Right now I have the privacy settings set so that anyone can read and anyone can comment simply because this is easier than inviting everyone by their individual e-mail addresses and making them sign up for a blogger account (this will be easier for grandparents and other extended family) but if anyone is uncomfortable with that I can change it.

There might be a little trial and error with posting/commenting and such to make sure I set everything up right so feel free to publish a test posting :)
